These student leaders have gone on to create tangible impact across the arts, sciences, humanities, and more. About CEIA

CEIA (California Education in Action) brings together students and community members to realize a just and sustainable world through service, scholarship, and entrepreneurship. We engage hundreds of students each year in service locally and around the world. We value student passions and ideas and believe in their abilities to become successful change agents.

CEIA builds student leadership skills and helps students find their purpose. We are also a nonprofit incubator helping emerging student nonprofits and charitable projects through consultation, training, technical support, and financial sponsorship.

Leadership

Seven PSC students were selected to attend the 46th UNIS-UN Conference in 2022, discussing "Food for Thought: A Sustainable Approach to Food Security" with Seth Goldman (Co-Founder of Eat the Change™), Abby Maxman (CEO of Oxfam America), Mary-Ellen McGroarty (Representative and Country Director for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Afghanistan), and other youth delegates all around the world. All of the participating PSC students excelled in global debates, video competitions, and culture showcases.

EnvJust

EnvJust is a student run organization based in Upland California committed to fighting environmental justice. We are determined to raise awareness to improve and advocate for equitable wages, affordable housing and most importantly environmental equality for all people in the Inland Empire.

Cross Cultures

Cross Cultures innovates language education by introducing VR and AI technology into the curriculum, creating interactive mobile applications for students, and leading virtual and in-person lessons discussing the intersection of Chinese and American culture.

CiviKids

CividKids is a student-led nonprofit that educates and empowers youth and immigrant populations by increasing voter awareness through workshops and political activism. Our interactive lessons excites students and increases students’ political awareness.

Future Unchained

Future Unchained is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving victims of human trafficking. Our outreach workshops in Northern and Southern California and student-produced documentaries aim to educate people on the prevalence of the issue and correct misconceptions.
